a question of scale

I look at this little group of things tidied up onto my bathroom shelf every day, several times, and it always make me smile:

Stepping into the Royal Academy‘s first room I gasped at the voluptuous deep scarlet  walls hung with sumptuously coloured paintings; it was such a thrill, a heady rush for me.
